Story number 3 for 13 May 2003

By May 13, 2003

(Iraq)–Churches in the United States only have a limited time to help families in Iraq. The Southern Baptist International Mission Board is appealing to churches to help send food boxes to the victims of war in that country. The IMB is hoping to send more than 95-thousand boxes by the May 21st deadline. IMB’s Jim Brown says this is a great way to minister in a personal way to Iraqi people if you can’t go yourself. Pray that as this food is delivered, it will open doors for evangelism.
