Story number 3 for 15 May 2003

(USA)–Over 40-million Spanish speaking people live in the United States, which makes it the second largest country of Spanish speakers behind Mexico. Because of the incredible potential for outreach, Trans World Radio is focusing on that segment of society. TWR’s Scott Hollinger reports. “International broadcaster Trans World Radio set up Radio Trans Mundial Norte America, or RTM North America to provide programs to U-S stations seeking to minister to the nations Hispanic population. RTM North American director Jim Munger says the ministry has already outgrown its U-S borders. ” We’re sending programs to 65 different stations throughout the country as well as to a lot more stations around the world for a total of 200 stations with over 350 hours a week of programming.” Jim says RTM’s roll is to assist the local church. For Mission Network News, I’m Scott Hollinger.” Pray that the ministry opens hearts and leads many to Christ.
