By May 19, 2003

(Caribbean)–Between AIDS and poverty, life in the Caribbean islands is a struggle. Back To The Bible’s Donahue Collash reveals they are looking toward a new thrust in outreach for the near future, after having seen growth throughout their English and Spanish ministries. “The only language group that has not yet been covered is the French-speaking Caribbean islands, which consist of Haiti, Martinique and Guadeloupe. Our international strategic planning group met recently and we have set as a goal an outreach for Haiti, French-speaking Caribbean people. ” Collash says the search is underway for a leader for the outreach. “If we can identify a teacher or a pastor out of Haiti, there’s what is known as the ‘International Scholarship Fund’ that we have to assist such persons to be trained and to be sent back into their country. The time frame that we have is that we are looking at startup time by December 2004.”
