(El Salvador)–While the victims of El Salvador’s earthquake are no longer in the news, their needs continue to grow as an outbreak of Dengue fever is feared. International Aid, an evangelical relief and development organization, is there helping the victims. I-A’s Sonny Enriquez is with a team of 25 people. “We are involved in three things right now. Building temporary shelters and we’ve completed 46 shelters. And, then health care, by hold health clinics and the 3rd involvement is we have is we’re holding trauma counseling workshops.” Enriquez says the people are open to the Gospel. “It’s harvest time here. We’re partnering with two local churches here. They have been helping us by taking care of the counseling of the people and sharing of the faith. And, through the deeds of compassion the people are just coming to know the Lord.”
