(Kazakhstan)–Keston News Service is reporting that two Baptists from a western town in Kazahkstan are facing criminal charges. Church members claim the accusations have been instituted to halt their missionary activity in a nearby village. Area officials recently interrogated the two evangelists, although they did not arrest them. The team was subsequently required to report to the police that they were leaving the town and the police case against them has not been dropped. A Baptist pastor says, despite the charges, their work will continue.
