(West Africa)–A Christian radio ministry is praying God will allow them to expand their Bible teaching program into West Africa. Insight for Living International’s Rolla Goodyear says they want to beam the programming into the region in English. “There is a significant population in Nigeria, Ghana, Liberia that would benefit from an English broadcast. Mainly because of the influence of the British, English is a predominant second language that’s understood by as many as 160-million people. (While) some of the residents don’t speak it well, they understand it well. And so, this is just another opportunity to utilize some of what we already have produced in a very efficient and cost effective way because the cost will be many the airing costs and no additional production costs.” Pray that funding will be available for the expansion.
