(Australia)–HCJB World Radio-Australia is reporting a revolutionary event. They now have one of the country’s first two private international broadcasting licenses. This could potentially expand the influence of Christian radio for millions of people. HCJB World Radio’s David Johnson. “Australia has always limited who could broadcast internationally. This is the first time in their history that they’ve allowed international broadcast of religious programming. So, for us, it means that we can broadcast from the country of Australia to parts of Asia, South Pacific, et cetera, which couldn’t be done before.” Johnson asks believers to pray for this endeavor. “The Australian office estimates that it will probably take twelve to eighteen months, once the final construction permits are issued. They’d love to be on the air by the end of this year, but realistically, probably at least a year and a half before they could really start operations.”
