Story number 3 for 9 Feb 2001

(USA)–Christian educators are the laborers needed to get the message of Christ into countries closed to the Gospel. That’s the word from the President of Educational Services International Ron Nicholas. Nicholas explains how they’re able to do that. “The way we help people get in is through teaching conversational English, business, computers, and a few other subjects. And, of course, while they’re there they’re making friends with the students with faculty. In some countries they’re able to start small group Bible studies and most countries it’s more friendship evangelism.” Nicholas says they’re working in 10 countries now. The only thing holding them back is more workers. “We added up all the places where we knew we could place teachers right now and we could easily place over 300 teachers and so it’s a matter of supply. We just need more laborers for the harvest. There’s definitely places that would take them.”
