The Christian Broadcasting Network has many global outreaches sharing the hope of Jesus Christ. CBN China’s Jewel Nordstrom says one of their more successful delegations involved Operation Blessing International, and a four day mission in China. “We send out medical teams throughout the country, and being able to share, in a very concrete way, the love of Christ. Many of the people that our physicians treat have never seen a physician in their lives, and many may walk 8 to 10 hours just to see the doctors.” Nordstrom adds that when Christians tend to the physical needs first, the spiritual needs can also be met. She says people can pray for more open doors. “We desire to bless the nation of China, and we desire to love the Chinese people and do it in concrete ways that are very evident in their lives.”
