(USA)–Next, as pastors and missionaries are sharing the Gospel with the lost, a ministry is making sure they stay spiritually healthy. Barnabas International’s founder Lareau (lah-roo) Lindquist says they’re providing them discipleship and support. “We do it in conferences and seminars, workshops. We also have a staff of psychologists and counselors that do one on one relationship. Spiritually and emotionally we are very much committed in helping Christian leaders stay spiritually and emotionally healthy.” JAARS spokesman Arthur Lightbody says their workers are able to take advantage of the service. “When they’re overseas they have spiritual needs and they have family needs. And groups like Barnabas International are a very important aspect of the total mission effort.” JAARS speeds Bible translation by providing quality services for Wycliffe Bible translators and others.
