Story number 4 for 15 Mar 2001

(Cuba)–Next, the World Bible Translation Center recently delivered 100,000 copies of its Spanish New Testament to Cuba’s Council of Churches, the official governing body of churches in Cuba. WBTC is hoping this is just the first of many future shipments of the translation into Cuba. The Scriptures will be distributed among traditional churches and house churches. WBTC officials believe this translation communicates God’s message to all people in clear and contemporary Spanish.
