(Kenya)–Next, workers among the Muslims in Africa are concerned over a recent outbreak of violence aimed at Christians. The Center for Muslim Ministries reports that a wave of church burnings in the Mukuru area of Nairob may have been conducted by a radical Muslim sect in an attempt to spark religious violence. The group is also believed to have been involved in the leveling of a mosque. CMM reports four people were killed and dozens injured in the clashes in Mukuru.
