(Bolivia)–Next, lawyers and politicians are trying to reform Bolivia’s constitution to stop discrimination against religious minorities. According to Compass Direct News, in rural areas of the country, religious liberty can turn violent as Indians force all residents to participate in pagan festivals. Many of them involve brewing liquor and making ceremonial offerings to pagan gods. Evangelicals who refuse face retaliation in the form of fines and jail time.
