Meanwhile, an organization is getting national Christians to take an interest in Bible translation. The organization is called, The Seed Company, a ministry of Wycliffe Bible Translators. The Seed Company’s Roger Garland. “The Seed Company came into being to spearhead that whole idea of moving toward empowering national translators to do Bible translation. And Wyclifee then becomes more and more people who are training, mentoring, coming along side and giving consulting help to local people.” Garland says they also need people around the world to get involved to make sure each person has scripture in their own language. “We need more and more people praying for the Seed Company and for specific projects. We’ve got over 100 multi-year translation projects in different parts of the world and each of those needs a core of prayer partners who will faithfully pray for them. We also need funding obviously.”
