(Haiti)–Meanwhile, in Haiti, the Christian Reformed World Relief Committee is working with church deacons to help them reach effectively reach out to their communities. Meeting every other month, seven men representing the seven zones of the church come together from all over the country. Recently, they decided to make and sell peanut butter, using the profits for ministry. Church members are committing to buying their peanut butter from the deacons — tripling the amount of money the deacons have for outreach.
