(USA)–Next, D & D Missionary Homes is reaching out to the physical needs of missionaries home from the field or ready to go to the field. D & D’s Janice Dunkerton heads up their clothing center. “The purpose is to provide clothing for missionaries and Christian workers and pastors and their families for free. And, we’re averaging between 400 and 450 people per month. When they come in their just amazed that they can take this stuff and they don’t have to worry about going out to the stores and getting this stuff.” Dunkerton says the receive donations from individuals and churches, but she would really like to see more business help out. “Every once in a while Walmart drops off things. But, that would be great when they change their seasonal stuff on their floors, if they would just be able to donate it to us, that would be really great. The missionaries really appreciate if they can get some brand new stuff also.”
