(India)–And finally, while The JESUS Film continues to be translated into more and more languages, the audio version is also growing. In the last four years, translations of “The Story of Jesus” have climbed from five to 200. Dozens of other new translations are also in process. “The Story of Jesus” is being used on radio broadcasts and is distributed on audio cassette tapes in nations closed to the Gospel. The 200th version in the Garhwali (gahr-HWAHL-ee) language will serve more than two million speakers in Northwestern India.
