Story number 5 for 23 May 2002

(India)–And, a women’s ministry is sparking church growth. Women of International Needs India recently helped a small congregation in a Delhi slum host a women’s retreat. Attendance of 35 was anticipated but the crowd grew to over 75 women. The Bible lesson was centered on the story of Five Loaves and Two Fishes. Please pray that the outreach ministry will bear fruit and that the evangelistic work will continue without harassment or persecution.
