(International)–And, translators continue to find ways to effectively communicate the Gospel message to those who cannot read their own language. Jim Hollister of JAARS, says they are working to speed up Bible translation by providing quality services for Wycliffe Bible Translators and others. “Basically, our department gets with people of that particular language group, and a translator to put their language onto Bible videos or audio cassette tapes.” As of now, the translation teams have completed over three-hundred different Bible videos. “It’s different from month to month, all the different vernacular media services projects that are going on. But as far as translation programs, Wycliffe Bible Translators is working on right now over 1,200 language projects and some of those do have media projects going on.”
