Story number 5 for 31 Oct 2001

By October 31, 2001

(Belize)–Finally, Southern Baptist missionaries are working alongside Baptists in Belize to rebuild homes and churches destroyed by the recent hurricane. The International Mission Board says damages caused by the October 8th storm left more than 13-thousand people homeless. Officials estimate that damage in the region could reach 250-million dollars. The most pressing needs are for food, water and shelter. Please pray that as believers help rebuild, their testimony during hard times would enhance the spread of the Gospel.
