USA (MNN) — Since 1979 the JESUS Film Project has been sharing the story of Christ to literally billions of people around the world. The most recent statistics indicate just how pervasive the film is today.
According to the JESUS Film Project, the film and audio has now been translated into 959 languages. More than 200 translations are still in process.
What’s incredible about the film is that these translations have allowed 5.4 billion people to see and hear the Gospel message in more than 200 countries. 201 million have indicated to have made decisions for Christ.
There are now more than 2,200 JESUS Film Project teams and it’s a key resource for evangelistic outreach. JESUS Film leaders say there are more than 1,500 denominations and mission agencies using the film as part of their ministry.
Pray for the on-going work of JESUS Film project. Pray that the translations will be completed and that God will continue using the film to lead many to Himself.
