Ukraine (MNN) — Tensions between Russia and Ukraine are running high over the control of the natural gas pipeline that brings gas from Russia to Ukraine. Ukraine and much of Europe have been experiencing a gas crisis for over a month in the midst of one of the coldest winters they’ve seen in awhile.
The Ukrainian people who felt hope for renewal after last year’s Orange Revolution, now shiver from the cold and despair of economic and political instability and corruption.
