International (MNN) — Millions of sports fans around the world are interested in one thing — the World Cup. With the world in a World Cup craze, the American Tract Society has produced a tract that could introduce the Gospel to thousands.
ATS’ International Ministries Coordinator Chris Nogueira says the tract is called, 2006 World Cup Soccer, Who Will Win? “This tract is basically being printed in seven countries around the world — in Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Paraguay, Spain, Germany and Italy. And, we anticipate printing a total of 270,000 tracts.”
The message in the tract, however, isn’t only about the World Cup, says Nogueira. “It basically has an evangelic message in it. It’s more about winning, but not only winning the game of soccer, but winning in the game of life. There’s not guarantee that people can win in a game of football or soccer, but you can win in the game of life if you put your trust in the name of Jesus Christ.”
While, this type of literature may not be attractive to Americans, Nogueira says that’s not the case in other countries. “Literature around the world, especially the two-thirds world, is something that people really love. They will keep any literature they can. The western world it’s more of a visual culture, whereas the two-thirds world is more of a reading culture.”
The tracts are available in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and German. Dozens of mission organizations are using the tract in evangelism. Nogueira tells us his prayer. “Our prayer is that many people will come to faith in Jesus Christ, knowing that their sins can be forgiven and that they can hear the Gospel, but receive Jesus Christ by simply putting their faith in Him.”

I’m interested in getting copies for the Spanish tract to use here in Santiago, Chile.
But I have people in the US who will purchase it for me, are they available there? And can you please send me the info.
Thanks,
