Asia (MNN) — Meanwhile, two tribes in an isolated Asian area are now hearing the Gospel because of committed national missionaries.
The two groups fought constantly and practiced animal sacrifices to many pagan deities. The people worshiped many gods and goddesses. They even sacrificed animals – rabbits, birds, rats and snakes – and then ate them.
A Gospel For Asia missionary and a co-worker are being used among the tribe. Seeing their lifestyle, the young missionaries were afraid to spend the night. But God filled their hearts with compassion, and they decided to stay.
They were glad they did, within just months 10 people have come to Christ. And, now, for the first time a church is meeting where pagan rituals were practiced.
