The people of St. Louis have been through enough this last year. They do not need further reminders of the pain, hurt, and hatred that one person can inflict on another, especially when it happens for stupidest of reasons, like skin color.
It is next to impossible not to see a racial motivation here, but there may be an additional motivation that is at work. I know that in the past, churches have been targeted for burning by satanic groups. I don’t know if that is the case here, but I write this hoping that someone will check into that possibility as well.
I pray that this practice stops and that the faith community can come together and help each other get through this problem and provide support for one another.
