Ron Hutchcraft of Ron Hutchcraft Ministries talks with MNN’s Katey Hearth about this disturbing fact: since 2009, Native Americans have had the most children in foster care. Hutchcraft says to understand why, you must go back in history.

The pair also discuss the prevalence of “dual status” children among Native American populations. Dual status refers to children who are enrolled in the foster care system and juvenile delinquency system at the same time.
