(USA)–A new radio program in the United States is targeting Spanish Speaking people. Back to the Bible began airing their Spanish broadcast today on selected radio stations across the country. Back to the Bible’s Dave Hansen says La Biblia Dice (lah BEEB-lee-ah DEE-say), or ‘The Bible Says’, will be a home missions project. “In the last 10 years there’s been an increase of 58-percent, as far as the Hispanic population in the United States (is concerned). So, obviously the growth in the United State, particularly in the southern states, is in the area of Hispanics and we’re wanting to take advantage of that opportunity.” Hansen is asking people to pray for this new outreach. “Pray for the group in Houston, Texas. We’re in partnership with KHCB and they will be answering the phones. And, pray for the staff that will be preparing the radio programs that they will be able to know how to deal with a North American audience, because historically they’ve dealt with a Latin American audience in South America.”
