(International)–Reaching children with the Gospel message is important to seeing the Great Commission completed. That’s the word from the President of Awana Clubs International Jack Eggar. He says they’re targeting the four-14 window. “The four to 14 window has to do with children who come to Christ. In the neighborhood of 80-percent of all who come to Christ will come to Christ in that four-14 window. Which tells us, we need to be focusing a lot of our attention on reaching the children around the world in that window.” Eggar says that’s why Awana has clubs working in 133 countries. However, people are needed to join their Adopt-a-Club program. “With $15 a month they help a church in a 3rd world country to actually kick start Awana and get it started. We have thousands of churches overseas now, that we’ve been able to start because of Christians in the states who have shown a compassion for the needs of children overseas.”
