(China)–Meanwhile, churches refusing to register with the Religious Affairs Bureau in China say they would rather risk being arrested, than be officially recognized and forced to come under government control. Two weeks ago, officers raided another house church meeting and took three of their leaders into custody. Voice of the Martyrs believes the crackdown on Christians shows the Chinese government fears the house church growth. Please pray for believers as they practice their faith in light of government scrutiny.
