International (MNN) – Keys for Kids Ministries is preparing for the New Year with a plan to reach more kids with the truth of Jesus Christ.
Greg Yoder with Keys for Kids says, “We just want people to hear the gospel, interact with the gospel, grow in the gospel, and be able to share the gospel. If we can do that in a unique way … we want to do that.”
Keys for Kids is finishing an audio translation in the Dari language, which they expect to complete by the end of this year. They will begin distributing Storytellers to kids in Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Kyrgyzstan in 2026.
The organization is also looking forward to developing YouTube content in an animated picture-book style.
They also plan to add additional content for the Unlocked devotional for teens and desire to create a new devotional book that deals with things like fear, anxiety, and depression.
Coming off the heels of the YouVersion Bible app’s “beyond a billion” campaign celebration, Keys for Kids plans to make this devotional book available on YouVersion. They also want to double the available YouVersion studies they have.
Yoder says many people now prefer audio or video materials to reading. Because of that, they want to be in the spaces where people will find their materials and grow from them. They’re also always looking for new ideas to reach people.
“About 70% of people that come to faith in Jesus Christ do so between 4 and their 14th birthday, Yoder says. “That is the most fertile mission field in the world, and it’s a mission field that every ten years is regenerated.”
Please join in Keys for Kids in prayer that they will be utterly dependent upon Jesus as we move forward. Praise God for his continued provisions.
Pray that this coming year of ministry will be fruitful and that kids will come to a saving faith in Jesus.
Pray that people will grow in their faith, that young people will be excited about it, and that they will be able to defend their faith and lovingly share it with others.
