(Middle East)–An easy-to-read version of the Bible is now available in Arabic. World Bible Translation Center dedicated the special translation last week. WBTC’s President Dale Randolph says, in this time of international uncertainty, this effort was not only timely, but also needed. “This may be one of the first times a text has attempted to really utilize language that the Muslim population does not find offensive at all, and really communicates, accurately, the original text.” Randolph hopes to be able to distribute more easy-to-read Bibles in even more languages in the Middle East. He asks believers to pray. “We’re just praying that as it is finished, the Lord will move in various countries to make it acceptable, the exploration of Christian literature, by non-Christian people. There are things that indicate that this is happening.”
