(Africa) — Meanwhile, AIDS education has allowed Walk Thru the Bible Ministries to expand into a new areas of the world. Walk Thru the Bible‘s Terry Sparks says they recently traveled to Africa to do something they’ve never done before. “The reason for the trip to Africa was to teach the AIDS course and also to launch our ministry to Anglophone Africa, which is a new region. Countries like Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania all the way over to Nigeria and Ghana.” Up to 900 people attended the meeting in Kenya. Sparks says the program has been video taped and will be used to help Christians begin an AIDS outreach. “We think because of the extent of the problem in Africa that this AIDS course is going to have more impact than all of our other courses put together.” Which will lead to many evangelistic opportunities.
