Ministry in Haiti continues as need grows.

Haiti (MNN)–Peace keeping troops have left parts of Haiti now that the fallout from a political coup seems to have settled.

The withdrawal only highlights a non-existent infrastructure that is believed to have contributed to the country’s instablity. Fighting chronic poverty and natural disaster has left many families in ruin.

The price of rice has doubled since February and there are fewer jobs. There is no structure for aid for the poor, sick and starving. This is where ministry like “For Haiti With Love” steps in.

Between a regular feeding program, a medical clinic and a school, For Haiti is able to share the love of Christ in this stricken nation.

Ministry founder Don DeHart says the ‘drop bys’ now outnumber the regulars at the feeding center. These are the people who only come by when they have no where else to turn for help.

For Haiti with Love calls itself an action ministry, showing God’s love by what they do. Continue to pray for the teams as they work to meet the spiritual and physical needs in Haiti.
