USA (MNN) — A Christian radio network in the United States is gather shoes to help reach out in Christian love to the needy of Romania and Latvia.

The radio network of Moody Bible Institute is participating in Buckner Orphan Care International’s Shoes for Orphan Souls Shoe Campaign. They’re collecting new shoes and socks to send to these two countries.

These shoes are especially important in Romania as the government is no longer allowing international adoptions. There are more than 40,000 orphaned children in Romania alone. With the lack of funding by the government, the need for shoes, socks and other essentials are needed.

A shoes are being distributed by believers in these nations with the hope of sharing the Gospel with these precious little ones.

Those who participate have a chance to win a trip to Romania.

In addition, Moody and Shoes for Orphan Souls are partnering for a Missions Trip to Romania on October 21st and to Latvia November 4th. Go to http://www.HelpOrphans.com for more information.
