HCJB affiliate brings Gospel in two more languages

By February 22, 2011

Ecuador (MNN) — HCJB Global is rejoicing that two more language groups have access to Christian radio programs.

An HCJB partner in Ecuador, Vozandes Media, recently began broadcasting music and Scripture readings in two indigenous languages: Cha'palaa and Shuar.

Hymns in the Shuar language had already been recorded on tape and later digitalized. Now the music is broadcast daily for a half hour.

A half hour is also dedicated to the Cha'palaa language, nurturing listeners with Scripture recordings by a Wycliffe Bible Translators associate and always leaving them with "A Verse to Remember."

Pray that the communities will be reached with the Gospel as a result of this ministry.

HCJB is sending several teams to Ecuador over the next year with needs varying from musicians to Web programmers. Learn how you can get involved here.
