A child ministry project is running short of funds

Ghana (MNN) — Haven of Hope, is Every Child Ministries children’s home in Ghana. And, today they’re appealing for help. The children’s home is facing a serious shortfall in construction funds. Currently, workers are constructing a second staff and guest housing building for long-term missionaries. Funding for this project has fallen off, leaving them with approximately a $10,000 shortfall.

Every Child says this is important because it would eliminate the need for hotels and other housing for staff and missionaries. Pray that the Lord would continue to touch hearts for this project so this project would not have to be halted.

This money needs to be raised fairly quickly. Several summer team members will be leaving May 28th and these funds would go with the team leaders when they go, which would allow the construction to continue.

Every Child Ministries emphasizes showing the love of Jesus to the neediest of African children in practical ways and using African nationals to train their own people. ECM shows the love of Jesus through mercy ministries to homeless street children, through seeking to release and retrain slave children, and through medical and rehabilitation ministries to the sick and handicapped.
