Uganda (MNN)–The people of Uganda want the Bible read daily to their students.

This is such a priority that Uganda’s First Lady, Mrs. Janet Museveni, and the Minister of Education and Sports, Honorable Geraldine Namirembe Bitamazire, have chosen the World Bible Translation Center’s Easy-to-Read Version (ERV) English Bible because of its simplicity in reading and understanding.

In an excerpt from the First Lady’s letter, she says, “I am sure these Bibles will contribute greatly to the individual development we desire for all our people in these times. It is the Word of God that must be our guide.”

Each Ugandan classroom has an average of 30 students. With the Bible being read to the students, there will be well over eight million students and teachers hearing and understanding God’s teachings daily on critical issues.

This project will impact thousands of families and has the greatest potential of changing an entire nation. Click here if you want to help supply Bibles to Uganda.
