International (MNN) — People are becoming increasingly skeptical of what they see online, and that shift is opening new doors for the Gospel.
Many are growing weary of misinformation, AI-generated videos that look real, and the uncertainty created by conflicts around the world.
Denise Godwin with International Media Ministries says, “There’s a longing for authenticity that I think is very interesting.” She adds, “We’ve got quite a mixture of people wanting to be more real, but not being completely sure how to get there.”
The abundance of questionable information is changing the way people evaluate what they see and hear.
“It’s driving them toward a deeper dive into information, analog sources, and real human connections, as well as online. We’re moving into a ‘trust but verify’ society,” Godwin says.
As people search for trustworthy answers, many are beginning to explore Christ and the stories of His followers.

“Media is still the first stop. People want to go there to get information. Then they want to find another way to discover authenticity, reality, and truth,” she explains.
And that Truth, the Way, and the Life — Jesus Christ — is what Christian media seeks to share with the world.
International Media Ministries uses media to share the Gospel while training believers to tell their own stories. Every story is designed to point people toward Christ and encourage them to ask deeper questions. When people want to learn more, the ministry connects them with mature believers in their own communities.
“We’ll connect you to local, real people — someone in your country, someone where you are — who is also on this faith journey to Jesus Christ,” says Godwin.
Godwin says the Holy Spirit ultimately draws people to salvation. “But we want to create every possible opportunity through media for them [seekers] to begin their journey,” she explains.
Please pray for International Media Ministries as it reaches people worldwide. Ask God to raise up creative workers for places where believers cannot openly share their faith, and pray for discernment as people search online for truth.
Godwin says, “What a beautiful opportunity. As believers who trust in the power of God, missions, and the Holy Spirit, we can join hands in prayer with people in different parts of the world. That’s a beautiful thing. It’s a privilege.”
