AMG India’s care for their team leads to open doors

By May 31, 2011

India (AMG/MNN) — Evangelistic work
in India has its ups and downs.

On the one hand, there's an
openness to the Gospel like never before. On the other, that openness is being met with increasing
resistance.

For the workers, the resistance
can be discouraging and isolating. That's
why AMG International began holding Hope for India Conventions in the first
quarter of 2011. These large meetings have two purposes.

First, some of the meetings are
directed to AMG's national workers and are designed to equip and encourage them
in their ministry. Second, they include evangelistic meetings that attract thousands
of men, women and youth.

One meeting was held in Andhra
Pradesh State. The speakers addressed a variety of topics, from hardship and
trials to the Gospel. At the end, 311 people
responded to Christ, and discipleship has begun. Another Hope for India convention was held in
a different part of Andhra Pradesh, with similar results.

Finally, Hope for India meetings
were held in the town where AMG India is headquartered. There were both
evangelistic meetings and meetings for national workers. There were
separate meetings for men and women with different content, and God blessed
with plentiful fruit. There are now many new believers as a result.

There are approximately 100,000
individuals each month that are ministered to through AMG, including needy
children, leprosy sufferers. and others.

Please pray for AMG coworkers who
are faithfully proclaiming Christ in India, for the new believers to grow in
their faith, and for more sponsors for national workers who are needed to reap the
plentiful harvest.
