International (MN)–This coming Sunday, June 13th, is a cause for celebration for the mission team of SIM.

A dedication service is scheduled for Malcolm McGregor, the new SIM International Director, in Fort Mill, South Carolina.

McGregor is the former Director of SIM in the United Kingdom and Northern Europe. Their journey began while they were living and working in Nigeria when they became SIM affiliates. This relationship led to their becoming regular SIM missionaries, serving in Ethiopia from 1984 to 1996.

As Director of SIM-UK and Northern Europe, McGregor rebuilt the leadership team, moved the headquarters to a strategic new location, restructured many procedures and administrative functions, initiated a new program for young people and designed and implemented ways to engage the local church in world mission.

Training national leaders and empowering churches and mission initiatives are high priorities. Amidst the confusing and complex changes in the world, McGregor hopes to lead SIM to be a church-planting movement and a mission-planting movement.

Please join them in prayer as they commit to service of the Great Commission.
