Singapore (MNN) — Joni Eareckson Tada of Joni and Friends will be sharing wisdom in Singapore July 26-28. The Eagles Leadership Conference is a bi-annual cutting -edge Christian conference.

As a plenary speaker, Tada will talk about "Suffering: Shifting the Leadership Paradigm." She will also help hold a workshop called "Leading with Limitations: How to Turn Brokenness Into Blessings."

Tada was injured in a diving accident in 1967 which left her paralyzed. With rehabilitation and the love of her family and church, she became determined to help others. Among other things, she has written books, been a leader in the U.S. government, and traveled around the world as a speaker.

The ELC targets pastors and lay leaders, businessmen and emerging Christian leaders. It addresses questions facing the Asian church, marketplace, and community. The conference offers role models and experts in leadership, and it gives practical ideas for Christian leadership. They also teach the Eagles 4P Leadership Model: Person, Partnership, Perspective, Performance.

The conference teaches a new leadership paradigm that "seeks to achieve deep relationships as well as high performance."
