Mozambique (MNN) — Do you fear going to work each day? Many people in Mozambique do.
Audio Scripture Ministries has been working in Mozambique since 2005 to distribute audio Bibles. Their work has been largely successful. In late January, the village of Matcheleni received many of these Bibles, and there has been a great response to the Gospel in that area.
However, because of recent political violence, one missionary and his family are in danger along with the citizens of the country. Many are displaced from their homes or just live in fear.
Chad V. and his wife recently completed adoption papers for their daughter, and they are asking for your prayers. Chad will be traveling from Chimoio to Xai Xia on a road that gets attacked almost on a daily basis. He is praying for wisdom to know whether he should take a much longer, alternate route.
Much prayer is needed for Mozambique. Pray that peace would be restored to the country. Pray that ASM’s work there will continue to be successful and will bring hope to many through the Gospel. Pray for the safety of Chad and his family, and for the arrival of their adopted daughter.
