International (MNN) — The Baptist World Alliance is celebrating 100 years of ministry throughout the world.
They’ll be hosting a conference in Birmingham, England, this summer, July 27-31. The Baptist World Centenary Congress is an international gathering that will bring more than 10-thousand attendees from across the globe together in one place.
BWA’s Denton Lotz says the centennial celebration is “an opportunity to look back and look ahead with firm determination to be centered in Christ and to work by the power of the Holy Spirit.”
The conference will focus on the mission of sharing Christ with the world, that Jesus Christ is the Living Water that all peoples everywhere need. A powerful time of fellowship and rejoicing in what God is doing around the world through His church, BWA invites people everywhere to join in the celebration.
