Chad is alive with missions opportunities.

Chad (MNN)–Africa Inland Mission reports encouraging growth in their Chad outreach.

Two new team members, Dr. Ann Fursdon and Angela Godau will open doors in medical work and children’s ministry.

Housing projects are also progressing on schedule. The team says the work at Kouno for the Whitehurst and Cray families was helped along by two men who spent a month on the project.

Even more exciting, there are plans for a prospective ‘Training In Ministry Outreach’ or TIMO team. It is a two-year, on-the-field, hands-on, missionary training program in which participants learn and minister within a team context among one of Africa’s unchurched, preferably, unreached people groups.

It’s the culmination of a vision begun in 1988 when AIM began work in Chad. Their goal was to reach unevangelized peoples through linguistics, community health and leadership training.

There is a good spirit of cooperation with others working in Chad including Action Partners, WEC, Wycliffe Bible Translators, Mission Aviation Fellowship and World Vision. Please pray for those serving in this country.
