Children are the future of the church in Germany, but workers are scarce.

Germany (MNN) — You’ve heard it said that young people are the church of tomorrow, but unless God’s love is carried to them they will never hear. That’s why Joe and Shlli Sellars are serving the youth in Germany with the Bridge International.. The goal is to see many young people turn to Christ.

over 50-percent of Germany’s towns, with a population of 5,000 or more, do not have an evangelical church of any kind. Those that do, have less than 100 members. But, even in those church youth ministry doesn’t exist. There is a tragic shortage of youth ministries.

In the two-State district where the Sellars search, there are only three full-time youth pastors, all of them foreigners. It’s not wonder only 1 to 2 percent of the young people in Germany clain Christ as their Savior.

The Sellars are praying that God will call many people to youth ministry in Germany and that the country’s youth will be where revival starts.
