Christian broadcasts in Iran doing well

By August 27, 2007

Iran
(MNN) — Sammy Tippit Ministries says three years of Christian television
broadcasts into Iran
are making a difference.

Iranians seem open to the Gospel, and this is a great tool
for the Word of God to be spread throughout the Middle
East. Tippit first trains Iranians in the various parts of
the world where he can meet with small groups. The ministry then produces a broadcast that
goes out every Sunday and Tuesday, two to three times each day.

This broadcast is a series
of messages that Tippit preaches at various training conferences for Persians
around the world and is then translated and sent out to Mohabat television, a
Christian Iranian TV station.

The station itself has been
in existence for about 1 1/2 years, transmitting all of its programs in Farsi,
but its channels reach throughout Europe and the Middle
East as well.

Most of the preachers who speak on Mohabat television are
Iranians who live in the West.  Tippit is
one of the only Americans who preaches on this station, with the help of a
translator.

Pray for hundreds and
thousands of people to be touched by Tippit's teaching. Pray that
God will speak through him so that people will come to know Jesus Christ. And pray that
the technology will flow smoothly into this difficult area of the world. Click here if you would like to help.
