Christian literature needed in developing nations

By June 29, 2004

International (MNN)–There is huge need among pastors and Christian leaders in developing nations for Christian material to help in their ministries.

Dr. David Shibley with Global Advance says there are hundreds of thousands of pastors around the world that are literate but just don’t have the resources in their own language. He says the Lord put in their hearts a few years ago to provide a vision and tools for Christian workers and pastors.

They now produce Christian materials in 17 languages and also have a multi-language web site. The site 2Tim2.org allows pastors to download a variety of church growth information and lesson training in their own language.

The group also will hold a number of Front Line Shepherd Conferences and during that time will hand out thousands of books in Swahillli, French and Spanish this year.
