Evangelist launches leadership training initiatives and discipleship tools for the church

By July 12, 2007

Romania
(MNN) — Eternal Concepts (formerly known as Ambassadors For Christ) is in Romania with a
second discipleship training school this month. This follows a successful launch last month by evangelist Dave Tippit in
Madurai, India.

At the inaugural session, Tippit indicated that fifty students
participated in the discipleship school, with each person staying from 6:30 am
in the morning until 10:00 pm at night. Tippit said, "The students (in India)
were so hungry for God and a renewed sense of God's presence in their lives. He
seemed to reward the desires of their heart."

EC aims to equip its students to make a
difference for God in their everyday environment.  They train primarily college-age
students who are passionate about fulfilling the call that God has placed on
their lives and take them through an intense seminar training
environment.

Week-long meetings include group worship times, individual
quiet times, group discussions, and in-depth Bible study of the four Gospels. The
response, says Tippit, was incredible. "At times, they didn't want
to go to meals because the discussion sessions were so compelling, and they
didn't want the conversations to end. The prayer times were equally as vigorous
as God's presence seemed to tangibly linger."

So, how to measure success? According to EC, "We pray that the students we train and
whoever consumes the words we write, the audio files we produce, and/or the
videos we create assists them in coming closer to embodying the following words
written by Francis of Assisi and/or C.S. Lewis. If this happens, then we
consider our work here at Eternal Concepts to be successful."

Please pray for the Eternal Concepts team as they face a
hectic schedule.
