Central Asia (MNN)–Christian leaders from three nations in Central Asia came together for a training conference recently.

Foothills Bible Church in Denver, Colorado headed the conference to support leaders from these predominantly Islamic nations.

The church also invited Sammy Tippit Ministries (STM) and EQUIP to join them in preparing these pastors for outreach in challenging circumstances.

The three groups provided motivation, teaching and practical training for those in attendance. Some of those were pastors of local churches. Several women who had ministries in the prisons were present, and a several leaders were church planters.

The leaders were encouraged to develop their private time with God. They were most enthusiastic during the last session when the Tippit taught on the subject of ‘Praying for Your Family’.

Pastor Pearson taught the first level of leadership principles for EQUIP ministries. The participants seemed hungry to learn how to be effective leaders.

To sum it up: influence for the kingdom. Tippit concluded with these thoughts. “It is exciting to know that what Pastor Pearson and I have taught will be multiplied throughout Central Asia.”
