FARMS supports theological and vocational training in Thailand

By August 22, 2012

Thailand (MNN) — FARMS International is helping believers generate income while sharing the Gospel with their neighbors. At the Lahu Christian Churches' Bi-vocational Training Center in northern Thailand, students spend four years learning how to teach others about Jesus. They also receive vocational training. Upon graduation, these students return to their villages as pastors and teachers.

Through micro-loans and revenue-generating projects, FARMS teaches graduates how to support themselves financially. FARMS loan programs have impacted Lahu believers throughout Thailand. One Lahu family used their loan to buy a rice field. Not only did they gain food from this field, but additional profits allowed the family to build a brand new home.
